Hotel Pickwick And Pub "The Room With A View" - Lucerne

My room had an amazing view of the Chapel Bridge, but it got noisy from the pub below.

Very central location, good base for discovering Lucerne. Walk from a train station, easy to move around...

Very unfriendly staff!

Famous property, has really helpful and efficient staff with what appeared to be servers rather than a desk clerk. A wide array of food available in the restaurant. Comfy bed & magnificent and unbeatable position so close to chappel bridge and overlooking the snow capped mountains, the main train station, and the pub. Also, close to railway station.

The view of the Chapel Bridge from the room was amazing. Staying on the fourth floor offered a perfect vantage point. The lack of air conditioning was great, and the noise from the pub below occasionally disrupted sleep. Despite these minor inconveniences, the well-thought-out storage solutions in the room made the small space work efficiently, and the friendly staff were always ready to assist.

The rooms were decent sized and included central heating, a private safe and multi-channel TV etc. It was in an European building with lovely view on to the lake and the covered bridge. Location: the hotel was close enough to the bar/restaurant and the most popular restaurants and train station and the surrounding landmarks.

the hotel serves reasonably priced food. a special thanks to courteous and nice staff.

The views of Chapel Bridge are fine. The noise from the pub below can be disruptive at night.

Very nice views, prime location, unique decor

No air conditioning in the summer!!! The awkward check-in process in a crowded pub atmosphere could use a rethink!!! Plus, the confusing layout makes navigating the hotel feel like a maze.

i couldn’t figure out how to open the shutters for the balcony, so the room felt a bit dark. the view was incredible, and the room had a kettle! staff were super friendly and the location was perfect for exploring.

Staying at pickwick and pub 'the room with a view' was great! The location is perfect, right next to the charming chapel bridge, and the views from my small balcony were fine. The hotel has a friendly service. I loved being able to stroll around old town and enjoy the fantastic lake view.

Just an optimal selection for a weekend pause in Lucerne with value for price. I especially enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere from the pub below without it feeling overwhelming. If you're looking for a lively experience, this place is perfect, but expect noise at night.

The room provided a fine view of the iconic Chapel Bridge. The hotel is conveniently located just minutes from the train station and offers a guest laundry facility, a huge help . I appreciated the kettle in the room for making tea while enjoying the view. The staff were cute, and the unique pub check-in process added to the character of the hotel.
